Infoxchange Australia Services

Infoxchange Australia works to provide Information Communication Technology (ICT) to vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals and communities, and the community sector organisations that, through service delivery or advocacy, support them.

Infoxchange provides a full range of ICT services for individuals and the not-for-profit and community sector. Infoxchange always aims to provide a top quality, cost-effective service to our clients at all times.

The Affordable Access Unit

    The Affordable Access Unit (AAU) incorporates the Green PC team and IXA Assist team who work together to make available the following products and services.

  • Refurbished computers (Green PCs)
  • Internet Access and Telecommunication Services
  • Helpdesk and Support Services
  • Infoxchange System Infrastructure

The electronic Service Partnerships unit

    The electronic Service Partnerships (e-SP) unit incorporates six teams working together to provide the following products and services.

  • Web and multimedia design
  • Technical development
  • Online newsboards and electronic newsletters
  • Search directories
  • Online employment resources
  • S2S Service co-ordination tools
  • Training and skills audit services

Grassroots Networking Fund

Grassroots Networking (GRN) Fund develops “whole of community” community strengthening and economic development projects. GRN utilises the new technologies and services provided by the Infoxchange's divisions and works in partnership with disadvantaged communities and individuals to assist in economic development and empowerment. GRN Fund has deductible gift recipient (DGR) status. GRN works to provide access to local community and worldwide communications alongside education, skills development, improved health and well-being, access to health and community services and employment opportunities.

    Grassroots Networking is an Infoxchange Australia initiative developed to:

  • improve the social, economic and environmental circumstances of low-income and disadvantaged communities
  • strengthen the capacity and cohesiveness of these communities and their social networks.
