COLLAPSE SITUATION:

REMEMBER TO SEEK MEDICAL HELP AND PROTECT YOURSELF FROM POSSIBLE DANGER

A. Airway:

Ensure the airway is not blocked by turning the person on the side, pulling the jaw forward under the chin, and cleaning out the mouth (if necessary).

B. Breathing:

If not breathing, commence assisted respiration, with the person lying on his/her back, at the rate of one breath every five seconds. Use a barrier device to prevent bodily fluid transfer.
