Volunteering at Infoxchange Australia is a rewarding experience for people interested in the information and communication technology (ICT) industry and with a community sector focus.

We provide volunteering opportunities to both professionals from a corporate or government backgrounds, and to individuals beginning their ICT careers. Volunteer placements may be either short-term or long-term, depending on the project and skills required.

Professional Volunteering
We aim to match people's skills to a project's particular needs. Some examples of volunteering at Infoxchange Australia are:

  • Delivering computer training to residents on the Collingwood public housing estate as a part of the Wired Community@Collingwood project, providing this community with access to computers, internet and a local intranet.
  • Development of a marketing and communications plan for a digital inclusion campaign.
  • Preparing research and a report on the economic assessment and impact of digital inclusion in society.

Volunteering opportunities with Green PC
From time to time we provide volunteering opportunities in our Green PC computer refurbishment and recycling business.

All our volunteering opportunities are advertised on Volunteer Seeker.
